Bakewell Tart




Ingredients


100g flour
50g butter
pinch of salt
Ice water


Add all the above ingredients and make a soft dough.
Now roll out the pastry and cut into small round shapes and arrange in a tart tray.


For Filling

50g sugar
50g butter
1 egg
1tbls flour
1/2 tsp rose essence


Cream together the sugar,butter,eggs and rose essence.
Then add 1tbls flour and chopped cashew nuts and fold and set aside.
Now spread some jam over the tart base.
Spoon the filling over the jam and decorate with cashew nuts.
Bake it for 25-30min for 180C.
