Ingredients
200g grinded sugar
110g butter
180g plain flour
60g cocoa powder
200 ml heavy thick yoghurt
100ml cup milk
2 large eggs [at room temperature]
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla essence
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
Sieve the flour with cocoa, salt,baking.p,and baking soda three times to incorporate extra air and lightness.set aside
The yoghurt must be thick not watery.
Method
First beat the butter and sugar until light and creamy.Beat it for 10 minutes.[don't skip this stage]
Then add the eggs, one by one and beat well. Add the vanilla.Now add the milk and yoghurt and beat well,
Now take a spatula and fold the cocoa powder and the flour ingredients in three installment.Just fold it until everything combined.Don't over mix.Pour the batter into prepared pan.
Bake it for 30 minutes in at 175 C
For the ganache
100ml whipping cream
150 gm cooking chocolate [chopped]
Heat the cream and bring to a boil . Remove from the flame and add the chocolate. Stir well.Now cover
the entire cake with cream.Then garnish with nuts
