A super fast delicious breakfast is rava/semolina idli.Without pre-planing you can make this at any time I have tried this recipe several times and it came charm.Give this a try and I am sure you will like it
1 cup Semolina 3 tbls Pure ghee1/2 cup Sour yogurt
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Black pepper,crushed
5-8Cashew nuts
5-6 Curry leaves
Salt to taste
1tsp Baking soda
Ingredients
1 cup Semolina 3 tbls Pure ghee1/2 cup Sour yogurt
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Black pepper,crushed
5-8Cashew nuts
5-6 Curry leaves
Salt to taste
1tsp Baking soda
Method
Heat some ghee in a pan.Then add semolina and stir until it turns in to a golden brown.leave aside.
Heat 2 tbls of ghee and add mustards seed,crushed pepper and cashew nuts and saute for few minutes.Then add chopped curry leaves and switch off the heat.
Take a bowl and add semolina,yogurt,salt and cashew nuts and mix well.
Then add enough water and make a idli batter.Add 1tsp baking soda and mix well.Rest it for 10min.
Pour the batter into idli trays and steam for 10-12min.
Serve hot with chutney.
