Doughnut


Ingredients


2 cups Flour
100g sugar
5 tbls butter
1 egg
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt.
milk

Method


Sieve the flour and baking powder together.
Now in a large bowl add flour,salt,butter,sugar and mix it with your finger tips till the dough becomes crumbs form.

Now add egg and vanilla and mix it well.Then add the milk gradually 1 tbls at time.[do not add every milk at once].now knead it well.Dough must be solid but soft.Not sticky.

Now divide the dough into two parts.Roll out the dough into quarter inch thickness and cut your doughnuts.Now transfer the doughnuts into a floured tray and let it to rest for 10min.

Now heat the oil and fry the doughnuts until golden colour both sides.Remove and place it on a lined pan.

When cool enough to handle,dip the doughnuts in cooking chocolate or icing sugar.
